Reading, Listening, Watching
Reading: Still fanfic, though I also managed the latest issue of DWM. The fanfic is now up to December 29th so I've got past the Christmas Day yuletide fanfic dump!!!

Listening: Just finished the Verity Podcast on Martha's leaving story. Started listening to an episode of Varvet International but, as a generic interview show, it didn't really grab me so I've skipped forward to the next episode of the Dr Who Book Club

Watching: Futuram and Avengers (UK) with the family, the latest Randomizer offering (The Invasion) with B.

Are you watching the DVD of The Invasion with the animated missing episodes? I think they alter the balance of the story (in a positive way) compared to the old video that just had some brief narration.

It's the one with the animated missing episodes and which so far is working well. In fact, we probably prefer the animation here to Power of the Daleks though I'm not sure we'd want to be challenged to articulate why.

\o/ for tackling the fic pile. Took me well over a year to read a copy of DWM once:S

I'm planning to re-watch 'The Invasion' this year with the recons, although I like the animated episodes. I can't say the same for the other DW DVDs.

I used to read the thing religiously back in the day, but I've been quite on-and-off about it since some time in the late 90s. I subscribed on a whim to its 500th issue, but find there are definitely bits of it I skip through.

Most of the recons we've been watching on Youtube. We like the loose canon ones but they are definitely variable beasts and the animation definitely makes them more watchable.

I like Loose Cannon best. I used to have them on vhs. It's a matter of personal taste with photo vs animated re-cons. I personally prefer the telly snaps ones. I really like the starring role the door has in Loose Cannon's 'Reign of Terror' re-con. Whenever someone came through the door there was a shot of the door which amused me. No other re-con can compete;)

I've not seen Reign of Terror, but I have heard about the door!!!
