Reading, Listening, Watching
Reading: Dark Currents another anthology from NewCon press. I've liked both the stories so far so I'm quite glad I didn't stop after reading the first of these anthologies. That said, I still feel I got a little carried away at Eastercon 2015, having ended up with three of them.

Listening: Welcome to Night Vale - I confess I'm struggling with this a little. I know lots of people rave about it, but at the moment (about 6 episodes in) it's starting to feel a bit like a cool idea that has run its course.

Watching: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 3, thanks to Amazon Instant Video. The Melinda May fan club is still out in force around here, though Hunter and Fitz are also getting a lot of love.

I also felt the same with Night Vale. I kept falling asleep trying to listen to it as well. I mean, I had a horrid head cold at the time but I don't think the drowsiness was due entirely to my medicine.

I'm finding it very repetitious with not much feeling of connection to the characters. Apparently there's a good double episode coming up though, so I'll probably stick with it until then.

I enjoyed Night Vale at first but gave up about 15 episodes in - a clever idea, very funny in places, and then got tired. I was thinking about it the other day and wondering whether it was still going.

It's still going - 90 something episodes. I seem to be around episode 10 and I'm told episodes 19 and 20 are a high point so I'm thinking I'll carry on until then and see what I think.
