Nancy G. Roman

A Lego model of a grey-haired lady (with pearls) and the Hubble telescope

I had not previously heard of Nancy G. Roman. She was NASA's first chief of Astronomy (note that is first not first female) and is particularly well-known for her contributions to the Hubble telescope. TBH, I'm absurdly pleased with my Lego Hubble telescope!

I think Nancy is impressed with the telescope too!

I think it's only a model of a telescope, but then its a Lego model of a real model so I'm not sure if its a model of the telescope or a model of the model.

Lego should label their products more clearly before anyone's head explodes thinking about it;p

It's been a more entertaining Lego set than, I admit, I thought at first. I figured it would be quite dull since it was mostly minifigs, but actually the little space models have enlivened it a lot.
